'Discovering Shakespeare'

An exciting workshop designed for Year 1&2 students in the bilingual learning scheme.

The workshop begins with a drama ‘Work Out’ involving warm up games, vocal exercises and improvisation.

The students are then split into performance groups, with each group focussing on a different aspect of Shakespeare’s World.

Shakespeare’s Life,The Globe Theatre, Shakespeare's Sonnets,

The Tragedies, The Comedies

and The History Plays.

Each group will then play their part in the final

‘Discovering Shakespeare’ show – a fun, energetic look at the world of Shakespeare and Elizabethan England.

Parents, teachers and other students are all welcome to come and enjoy the final show at either the end of the school day (1500 hrs) or in the evening (1900 hrs)
